Fully Google Cloud Platform (GCP) managed relational database service for PostgreSQL.

Installing P0 on PostgreSQL takes about 10 minutes.

Before you begin

• Make sure you have a Google Cloud integration setup. Refer to Google Cloud integration.

• Make sure you can add IAM bindings; you can gain these abilities if you have both:

  • iam.roleAdmin

  • iam.securityAdmin

• Make sure you can connect to the Cloud SQL instance as an authorized user with these required permissions:

  • Permission to grant access (GRANT) to other users.

  • Permission to create functions (CREATE FUNCTION) within the database.

Setting up PostgreSQL

1. Navigate to "Integrations" on p0.app, select "PostgreSQL", and click "Add New PostgreSQL configuration":

1. Fill in the details of your Postgresql Instance. Select the integration type (Currently, "CloudSQL" is supported) and the Google Cloud project ID, "Instance Connection Name" and "Database Name".

1. Run these three steps to ensure the P0 can manage user access to PostgreSQL roles.

   1. The first step is to ensure the P0 service account has the necessary roles to connect to the cloudSQL instance.

2. The second step is creating a function where the P0 service account can grant access to the requested role.

3. The third step is to grant execute access to the service account.

After running all the steps, click "Verify."

Congrats! You're now set up with P0 PostgreSQL.

You can manage your connections on the main integration page and "Add New Config" as needed.
