# Approval integrations

Approval integrations allow automated access approvals without human intervention.

If you use default approvals, any installed approval integration automatically grants access when its conditions are met.

If you use [Policy Studio](/policy-studio/policy-studio.md), you must add the approval integration into your policies' approvers array (see [Configuring access policies](/policy-studio/policy-studio/configure-your-first-access-policy.md#auto-approve-on-call)).
